Pastor Steve Stogner

Pastor Steve Stogner and his wife Trudy recently moved from Sarasota to Winter Haven to be close to family. Prior to his move, Steve served as pastor of Touchpoint Community Church of Sarasota for 19 years, and was an integral part of missions work, church building and transition within that community.

Installed as Pastor of Bethany on September 19, 2021, Pastor Steve has delivered his lively and meaningful sermons to us and overseen our worship with energetic enthusiasm.. He and Trudy are a welcome part of our Bethany family!

Karen Dove has been a lifelong writer and a grant writer/communications consultant to nonprofit organizations for over 30 years. She comes to Bethany with a vast background in communication, resource development and nonprofit management. Karen has been ministering with her husband Greg since 1993 through many programs of Dove Ministries.

Karen is also an award-winning author of a children's Christmas book, A Gift for Santa, the story of how Santa came to learn Christmas was about Jesus and give his heart to the Lord. The book won first place in the children's division of the Christian Readers Awards in 2013. It is available on Amazon and almost any online bookstore.
